My core values are:
- I believe that all children should be loved and respected.
- I believe that parents are their children’s first teachers; therefore I encourage clear, respectful communication between me and parents. This way we can be full participants in your child’s life and development.
- I believe learning should be fun. Therefore, I value and encourage free play to help foster a child’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
- I believe and encourage the authoritative approach and therefore I speak and listen to children in a loving and respectful way, but whenever necessary, I set age appropriate limits. I define the rules and limits clearly and respectfully.
- Because we live in a globalized world and because I have a culturally diverse background and I am multilingual, I encourage; respect and value cultural differences and I incorporate these values into my curriculum.
